Facts

Sustainability and Resourcefulness are also possible at the fuel pump. In a short consultation the customers received simple and effective tips and tricks to handle their vehicle fuel-efficiently. The goal of the campaign was to show the customer how it is possible to achieve fuel savings with very little effort. For the good of the environment AND the wallet.

Execution

The campaign was implemented on chosen OMV gas stations all over Austria on three consecutive days per location. The consultation team consisted of three promoters, who were previously trained by the TÜV AUSTRIA AUTOMOTIVE GMBH as well as one TÜV employee. The daily consultation time was eight hours. On average, around 350 consultations took place in this timeframe (personal conversation + distribution of an information leaflet).

Result

During the “Sparfußtagen 2016” (~economize days 2016) more than 30,000 people received consulting. The customers were able to take away new insights to help them save fuel and money in the future and at the same time look after the environment.
